NBCL started its operations in 2020-2021 main crop season with expert management, well-versed in the dynamics of the local and global cocoa industry. Nananom operates out of three strategic regions namely, Western North, Brong-Ahafo and Ashanti buying and delivering sustainable cocoa beans from partnered farmer cooperatives to Ghana Cocoa Board. Currently, Nananom partners with over 20,000 sustainable cocoa farmers.
The farmer inclusive nature of Nananom mandates fluid communication between management and the farmer union executives fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Through this, farmers groups have been strengthened, aligning with our vision to drive sustainable production of cocoa and secure sustained incomes for the partnered farmer cooperatives.
